About us
We pride ourselves on a practical and constructive approach to solving or preventing problems in a cost effective way.
Thomas Litigation is a niche firm, specialising in commercial and civil dispute resolution, litigation and mediation and priding itself on its bespoke, personal and professional service. Headed up by Jill Thomas, who has over 35 years’ experience, the practice is based in Tunbridge Wells, but acts on behalf of clients all over England and Wales. We analyse cases quickly and fairly, getting to the heart of the matter and ensuring clients achieve their objectives.
We are committed to fighting cases for our clients, dealing with disputes relating to property, including commercial and residential leases, rights of way and property access, boundary disputes and boundary demarcation, trusts of land issues, co-ownership and interests in land, cohabitation agreements and disputes between cohabitees, construction disputes concerning builders, manufacturers and plant hirers and professional negligence claims against professionals including lawyers (solicitors, barristers and legal executives), architects, surveyors and accountants. We also deal with personal insolvency and bankruptcy issues.
From a corporate perspective, we work with companies dealing with insolvency issues including credit arrangements, receivership, administration, winding up and liquidation issues. We act for companies, directors, shareholders and creditors. We deal with breach of contract claims in relation to goods or services and disputes over contract terms, including injunctions for specific performance.
We can assist with contentious intellectual property issues, including trademarks, copyright, domain name disputes, design rights, royalties and non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements
